Remember, November Birthday people are entitled to a 10% discount on their Readings this month.
We are entering November on the day immediately following the Full Moon Sun/Moon Opposition of October 31st.
1 – We enter November on All Saints Day with Mercury in diplomatic, relationship-oriented Libra moving into a square to Saturn, the task master in his own sign of hard-working, serious (maybe working too hard and too serious) Capricorn.
Our Mercurial/Libran idealisms may be seen as challenged and limited by ‘bottom line’ kinds of responsibilities and/or authorities. We have to learn how to harmoniously accommodate both.
3 – Election Day here in the U.S. The main Astrological event today is that Mercury stops its retrograde motion and goes direct. So, we can stop going back over old stuff and move forward into some kind of new territory.
6 – Mercury in Libra moves into a square, again, with Saturn in Capricorn, as it did on the 1st. This time, however, Mercury is moving direct so that stressed mental energy is less likely to work inwardly and will be more inclined to speak/communicate outwardly, especially in the interest of moving in a new direction.
9 – Venus in Libra (one of the signs she rules) will move into opposition to Mars in Aries (one of the signs he rules).
If you had this aspect in your chart, I might advise looking into the mythology of the Goddess Venus and her adulterous love affair with the God Mars. They had great attraction for each other but ended up restrained and humiliated in bed together by a metal net fashioned by Venus’ husband Vulcan.
Mars was known for starting fights for which he didn’t care if he won or lost. He just liked experiencing willful aggression. However, in their on-going relationship it is said that Venus’ more sensitive and merciful nature helped to subdue Mars’ aggressivity. Perhaps something to ponder today.
10 – Mercury goes from airy Libra into watery Scorpio.
Also, the Sun in Scorpio moves into a harmonious trine with Neptune in Pisces. Scorpio energy is intense and deep and can go from the Eagle to the serpent/scorpion. This positive, compassionate, empathetic and mystically spiritual Neptune/Pisces energies can help that intensity to find ways to fulfill its passionate desires as a more lofty eagle.
12, 13, 14 – The Astrological events of these days, knowing that this is occurring during the questionable period following the election, lead me to think that there may be some kind of ‘breakthrough’ during this time.
First the slowly building third Jupiter/Pluto conjunction in Capricorn will occur on the 12th. The first one was in April, the second one was in June and this is the third and last one.
As I was google-searching for the dates of these conjunctions I came across the following statement in answer to the question:
What does Jupiter conjunct Pluto mean?
Jupiter conjunct Pluto natal gives an incredibly strong need to make it big in the world. You want power and influence and make ambitious plans to succeed at the highest levels. Your intense drive and ambition make you determined, persistent, and sometimes ruthless. (End Quote)
This was referenced from the website: Astrologyking.com
Now the above statement is regarding someone born with this aspect in their natal chart and, in fact, anyone born in April, June or November of this year will have this aspect.
But it also seems relevant to our current election, especially the ruthless part.
Pluto, however, may be about secret control and manipulation but ultimately it is to serve the goal of revealing what is hidden in the shadows and what one’s true motives are, love or fear?
On the 13th Mars will end its long retrograde motion and move direct, freeing up his aggressive, willful energy to go forward into some new directions.
And, on the 14th the Sun will move into harmonizing sextiles with both Jupiter and Pluto. So, we can consciously integrate and make use of whatever the Jupiter/Pluto conjuncting energy is meant to reveal to us, and be inspired to be part of an expansive (Jupiterian) and transformative (Plutonian) enterprise.
15/16 – First there will be the Sun/Moon, New Moon conjunction in Scorpio, potentially aligning consciously and unconsciously the object of one’s deepest passions and desires for this year.
Later, however, Venus in Libra (natally promising an eventual happy pair-bond relationship) will square the Lord of the Underworld, Pluto, in serious hardworking Capricorn.
Perhaps those Venusian/Libran idealistic and sensitive feelings will be confronted by deeply controlling, unavoidable structures and attitudes which will need some form of accommodation. As well as the need to accept deeper introspection and scrutiny of those idealistic, sensitive feelings.
However, Venus will actually be having a ‘one/two punch.’ On the 16th she will also be exactly square to Jupiter, so basically a few days of Venus in Libra tensions with the Jupiter/Pluto conjunction. Maybe relationship tensions as a result of the final, or current results of the election. Maybe not, but the image fits the symbology involved. Just remember to choose compassionate love and forgiveness.
Unfortunately, this poor Venus will also have to meet up in a tense way with Saturn in Capricorn on the 19th.
17 – On this day, however, we will also have some tension occurring. Mercury in Scorpio, whose thoughts and communications tend to be hidden and secretive, will move into an opposition to Uranus, the planet which tends to provoke sudden ruptures and accidents and high-strung mental tensions. Maybe secrets will need to be revealed, but it’s better do that consciously and not unconsciously, or not.
19 – Some harmony with Saturn and then some tension with Saturn.
First the Sun in Scorpio will harmoniously sextile Saturn in Capricorn. Here the passionate, Solar-conscious, Scorpionic desires can benefit from some dedicated, hard-working, ambitious, persevering Saturn in Capricorn energies.
Later, however, those same hard-working Saturn in Capricorn energies will be creating some tension with Venus in Libra (the aforementioned square) challenging those Venus in Libra ideals and sensitivities with some hard, cold facts, or causing the softening of people/situations overly-identified with hard cold facts to have a little more idealistic emotional sensitivity. As always with tense aspects, one must learn to make a deal.
21 – First Venus will move from airy Libra into watery Scorpio.
Then the Sun will enter the month of Sagittarius.
23 – Mercury in Scorpio will harmoniously trine Neptune in Pisces, potentially lifting and aligning those Scorpionic thoughts and desires into a more altruistic, compassionate, imaginative, mystical embrace with the God/Goddess of the Sea.
27-30 – On the 27th Venus in Scorpio, which can be strongly pulled by desires, especially in the realm of the physical aspect of love, will move into opposition to Uranus. Be careful of Uranian sudden, surprising ‘impulses’ in those directions. Then again, surprise events can also release pent up passions to either own and be comfortable with them, or for you to acknowledge their existence and gain some conscious awareness and discipline.
Earlier on the 27th Mercury in Scorpio will harmoniously sextile Pluto in Capricorn, and on the 28th Jupiter in Capricorn, and on the 30th Saturn in Capricorn. So, a long weekend of secretly desirous thoughts and ideas submitting harmoniously to a deeper Plutonian introspection, a Jupiterian expansive optimism, and a Saturnian hard-working ambition, all in the Capricornian realm of organized structures of ourselves and our society.
The 30th is also the day of the Sun in Sagittarius/Moon in Gemini, Full Moon opposition. This time with a Lunar Eclipse adding to the intensity and effect of this moment of confrontation between the conscious Sagittarian beliefs and ideals with the unconscious Geminian mental habits and thought patterns in one’s communications. As always, a need for mutual recognition and integration.
It is those unconscious thought patterns which will be ‘eclipsed’ and therefore potentially ‘rebooted’ this time.
