Starwise Forecast for May 2020
Remember: May birthday people are entitled to a 10% discount for Readings with me this month.
We enter May with a Rising Moon, until the Full Moon on the 7th.
3- Venus in Gemini will square Neptune in Pisces. Gemini, mental, rational approaches to your Venusian, emotional affections will feel challenged by deep, transcendental Neptunian, Piscean vulnerabilities and feelings. A day to quiet the mind and surrender, and to not react with the victim/victimizer ‘blame game.’
4 – Mercury in Taurus will conjunct the Sun in Taurus. A very strong Solar conscious/Mercurial Mental alignment towards Taurean values, i.e. making sure that our material organization of resources of all kinds are serving love and not fear.
5 – The annual Sun in Taurus/Moon in Scorpio Full Moon opposition. A time to acknowledge and integrate the conscious, Solar, earthy Taurean focuses with deep, Lunar, unconscious, instinctive, Scorpionic, watery, emotional desire energies.
A few minutes before the exact peak of the Full Moon, Mercury in Taurus will harmonize with, sextile, Neptune in Pisces. This should provide some positive grounded, earthy, Taurean, mental understanding of how to make decisions aligned with a quality of Neptunian compassion and empathy.
9/10 – Mercury in Taurus will harmonize with, trine, Pluto in Capricorn. An opportunity to see, understand and mentally apply ourselves to the deeply needed Plutonian transformations needed in relation to Capricornian realities, i.e. financial realities, authoritative and governmental structures, and traditions in need of death/rebirth.
The above discussion will continue on the 10th as Mercury will then harmonize with Jupiter in Capricorn, providing even more optimism and enthusiasm for a beneficent aspiration towards a material life that serves a Higher Purpose.
At the same time the Sun in Taurus will harmonize with, sextile, Neptune in Pisces providing, once again, a positive relationship between material focus and transcendental, emotional sensitivity and compassion.
11 – Mercury in Taurus will square Mars in Aquarius. This could tempt us to indulge in some aggressive mental/willful ‘kick-back’ towards the positive engagements entertained in recent days.
Later in the day Mercury will move from earthy Taurus into airy Gemini.
12 – Mercury, newly arrived in Gemini, will harmonize with, trine, Saturn in the early degrees of Aquarius. Both of these planets have recently moved from practical, earthy signs into airy, mental signs. This harmony between these two planets on this day may allow an appreciation and ability to greatly understand and communicate what needs to be done.
13 – Mars will move from airy Aquarius into watery Pisces.
Venus will turn backwards, retrograde, until June 25th, so she is entering a time of going back over our recent emotional feelings, patterns, and reactions.
14 – On this day Jupiter will turn backwards, retrograde, until September 12th. This gives me a sense of, after this date until September, it won’t be easy to move ahead with any ‘larger visions’ of how yours or society’s life should be, but more of a period of looking back over and assessing the larger visions that have already been put into motion. Perhaps this relates to the possibility that it won’t be until the Fall for things to really move ahead enthusiastically again in relation to the current crisis.
15 – The Sun in Taurus will trine Pluto in Capricorn. In spite of what I said about the general energy of Jupiter moving backwards on the day before this, life will have to go on.
For example, this positive Sun/Taurus, Pluto/Capricorn harmony should engender the ability to really practically engage in the Plutonian/transformative world that needs to be done.
17 – The theme of positive Sun in Taurus/Capricorn harmony continues on this day as the Sun harmonizes with, trines, Jupiter in Capricorn. And, even though Jupiter is retrograde now, this should encourage, again, some practical engagement towards the retrograde Jupiterian assessment of the ‘grand visions’ we have put in motion in our individual lives and societies.
20 – The Sun enters into the month of Gemini.
Later, Venus will square Neptune in Pisces. This will be similar to what I said for the 3rd, although this time this same aspect will take place as Venus is retrograde, therefore in relation to our going back over our recent emotional feelings and reactions.
22 – Mercury will conjunct Venus in Gemini. This will enhance the ability to mentally understand and communicate your emotional feelings.
Later, however, Mercury in Gemini will square Neptune in Pisces. This could challenge the Mercury in Gemini tendency to be mentally scattered or critical, especially, on this day, challenged by Neptunian Piscean emotional confusions or vulnerabilities. One lesson is to not over-rely on Mercury/Gemini rational intellect to cope with the Neptunian test of faith we are all having to face right now.
Later in the day, however, we will have the annual Sun/Moon, New Moon conjunction in Gemini, a time to align the Solar/conscious and Lunar/unconscious Geminian mental understandings and communications that need to happen.
25 – Mars in Pisces will harmonize with, sextile, Uranus in Taurus. Mars is not too comfortable in watery Pisces, but on this day, he can be uplifted and spontaneously freed-up by Uranian revolutionary actions that come from ‘thinking outside of the box,’ especially in regard to the Taurean need to have a material reality that serves love and not fear.
