Starwise Forecast for April
We enter April on the day after the Full Moon of March 31st.
1 – Sun Conjuncts Mercury in Aries. An emboldened time to speak or write your truth.
2 – Mars conjuncts Saturn in Capricorn. A good follow-up to the day before. Mars, which rules Aries and is exalted in Capricorn, conjunct to Saturn, which rules Capricorn makes for a great time to really dedicate and initiate new projects, with confidence that you can see the concrete ways that things will actually ‘work.’
4/5 – Mercury in Aries squares Mars in Capricorn. Some squares seem to limit the two entities. Some seem to overly ‘pump them up.’ This feels like the latter. Be careful of overly ambitious Capricorn energy stimulating overly impulsive, combative expressions.
On the next day, Mercury squares Saturn, so whatever ‘pumped up’ rash impulsive expressions happened yesterday will have some Saturnian ‘reality checks’ today.
7 – Venus in Taurus trines Saturn in Capricorn. Venus in Taurus is one of the best places to have Venus. Someone born with this should be able to know what real love is. Today that love can be even more determined and ‘real’ about moving toward a manifestation and expression of that love.
10 – The Sun in Aries squares Pluto in Capricorn. It is pretty hard to argue with Pluto, but if someone is going to try it would be the Sun in Aries. One way or another, Pluto is always, however, going to work it such that the deepest motives and intentions are revealed.
Later in the day Venus in Taurus trines Mars. Great time for passionate, energetic expressions of affection.
12 – Venus in Taurus, still on a positive roll, sextiles the ‘higher octave’ of Venus, Neptune. A great time to allow transcendent, compassionate, unconditionally loving expressions with creative, imaginative flavors.
14 – Jupiter in Scorpio harmonizes, sextiles, with Pluto in Capricorn. Scorpio deals with deep hidden feelings and passions. Jupiter tends to expansively bring things out into the open. Pluto rules Scorpio and is also involved in looking deeply into inner realities and motivations. In Capricorn Pluto will be particularly looking at how this deep investigation/revelation serves a longer game of structural transformations. It is where politics and sexual, passionate antics may get entwined.
Later in the day Mars in Capricorn harmonizes with, sextiles, Neptune in Pisces. Mars is very ambitions in Capricorn. Here he can be reminded to attune to loftier, higher spiritual values and feelings.
15 – Mercury stops its retrograde motion and moves direct.
Later we have the Sun/Moon New Moon in Aries conjunction, the best time to align the conscious and unconscious with willful, courageous intentions.
16 – Venus in Taurus opposes Jupiter in Scorpio. This can create a lot of emotional/passionate energy, but hard to clarify what is love and what is simply desire.
17 – Venus in Taurus trines, harmonizes, with Pluto in Capricorn. So whatever excesses Venus indulged in yesterday will have some deep, probing scrutiny today, with some transformational potential.
Later Saturn turns retrograde, until September 6th. So, going back over previous legalistic, organizational structures and realities that have already been in play.
18 – The Sun in Aries conjuncts Uranus in Aries. A pretty powerful time to let your energetic, courageous enthusiasm open to new freedoms and surprising, unconventional avenues of expression.
19 – The Sun goes into the month of Taurus.
22 – Earth day, and Pluto in Capricorn (an Earth sign) stands still and goes retrograde. Could be a rather deep, sobering look at what we have recently wrought upon the planet.
23 – Mars in Capricorn sextiles, harmonizes with, Jupiter in Scorpio. I would say this could put that expansive Jupiterian, Scorpionic, passion to work in manifesting some practical goals.
24 – Venus goes from earthy Taurus into airy Gemini until May 19th.
25 – Mercury in Aries, which has a lot of mental energy, but not always easy to control or focus it, squares Saturn, which is the Lord of control and focused discipline. There may be a question of whether to fight or submit.
26 – Mars in Capricorn, which can put a lot of energy into one’s work or career, conjuncts Pluto in Capricorn, which will make that Mars, really have to align itself with the larger material transformational process of the present era of our times.
29 – The Sun in Taurus, which can be earthly focused, but potentially coming from love, trines Saturn in Capricorn, which can be incredibly focused and determined at manifesting one’s ambitions.
Later in the day, however, we have the Sun in Taurus/Moon in Scorpio, Full Moon opposition, hence a conscious earthy focus, which can be rather sensual, in tension with deep unconscious feelings, which in Scorpio, can be rather passionate. Embracing, healing, integrating is always the call of the Full Moon.
