July 2018

Starwise Forecast for July 2018

Note: I am going to restart my annual 4th of July Birthday Reading for The United States of America this month, so you can watch for that if you are interested in what I come up with.

And remember, you July Birthday people can have your 10% discounted Reading this month.

We enter July with a Waning Moon, until the New Moon Solar Eclipse on the 12th.

5 – The Sun in Cancer trines Jupiter in Scorpio. A positive aspect but tension arises shortly after. This aspect is a good day for exuberant passion serving your caring, emotional needs to nurture and be nurtured, including by and for your own home space.

Less than an hour later Mercury in Leo, which can be arrogant and self-absorbed, opposes Mars in Aquarius, which in itself tends to ‘pump-up’ mental energies. So that earlier passionate emotional exuberance can also be challenged by some mental/communicative discord.

8 – The Sun in Cancer trines Neptune in Pisces, with only positive Lunar aspects following it for the rest of the day. Now that Cancerian need to nurture and be nurtured can really open to unconditional love and spiritual surrender.

9 – Mercury in Leo squares Jupiter in Scorpio. More Mercury in Leo tension, this time with the exuberant passion of a Scorpionic Jupiter. There could be the exaggerated self-indulgent passionate desires or dealing with people as such.

Later Venus goes out of fiery Leo into earthy Virgo until August 6th.

10 – Jupiter ends its retrograde motion and turns direct.

11 – Venus in Virgo trines Uranus in Taurus, so some practical, sensate, tangible expressions of new affectional freedoms are possible.

12 – A power-packed day.

First, early in the day, the Sun in Cancer opposes Pluto in Capricorn, which in itself, because it involves Pluto, is going to demand some death and rebirth. In this case, of those Cancerian needs to nurture and be nurtured.

But then, in the evening here in the U.S., the Moon will oppose Pluto 65 minutes before the Sun/Moon, New Moon, Solar Eclipse conjunction. And, of course, an eclipse is also always about death and rebirth.

In this case both the Sun and Moon, conscious and unconscious, Cancerian energies are being challenged by Plutonian, unavoidable fateful transformations.

This will be a partial eclipse, visible in portions of the Southern Hemisphere.

13 – Venus in Virgo will trine Saturn in Capricorn. A good reckoning for Venus in Virgo, which can be a bit picky in love matters (I know, I have Venus in Virgo). But today that pickiness can be responsibly disciplined and focused through Saturnian dedication to your emotional commitments.

22 – Venus in Virgo sextiles, harmonizes with, Jupiter in Scorpio. That Venus in Virgo pickiness can be overridden and expanded into the positive Virgoan qualities of service with that exuberant Jupiterian, Scorpionic passion.

Later, the Sun moves into the month of Leo.

24 – Venus in Virgo opposes Neptune in Pisces. This can play different ways. One, you could find yourself being critical of those not willing to deal with reality or who are playing roles of victims.

Two, you could feel that you are trying to approach people/situations with openness, compassion and vulnerability but find yourself being criticized for it.

Or you may find these contrasts playing out within your self. The challenge in any regard is to not try to blur things, and to rise out of being a victim or a victimizer.

25 – The Sun in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus. This can be a ‘pumped-up’ tension, where the Leonine tendency to think the world revolves around itself can demand new freedom in what it thinks it needs for its material security and well being. This could bode challenging for the rising Trumpian ‘Trade War.’

Later Mercury goes retrograde, until August 18th.

26 – The Sun in Leo opposes Mars in Aquarius. With the self-absorbable tendencies of the Sun in Leo still within the orb of the Sun/Uranus Square of the day before, this martial, Aquarian mental will power could add some ‘heat’ to the contested issues.

27 – The tensions of the last two days come to a bit of a head as the Moon also squares Uranus, and then conjuncts Mars, and then we have the Sun/Moon, Full Moon opposition, with a Total Lunar Eclipse.

I would say the unconscious, Lunar attunement to the Aquarian sense that we should be one family with equal brotherhood/sisterhood will be felt more poignantly as it goes through this death/rebirth in the midst of the current, perhaps very ‘Un-Aquarian,’ not very brotherly/sisterly challenges being played out at this time.
